Nadine is a Registered Architect who brings a deeply empathetic, research-driven approach to the Hume Architects team. Her interest in how thoughtful, inclusive design shapes the way we move through and experience everyday architecture began with her master’s dissertation, which explored the human form and functionality as architectural tools within unorthodox spaces.

Almost a decade into her career working across a range of sectors, that early curiosity has grown into a genuine commitment to push accessibility beyond the minimum standard. Both personal and professional experience have shaped her willingness to ask whether compliance for compliance’s sake is good enough, and to keep challenging what’s considered practical design solutions in an industry that’s constantly evolving, along with the people who use it.

On a lighter note, outside the office, you’ll find Nadine attempting the odd painting session at home, pointing out cray holes to the hubby on dives, going on long walks with her Doberman, and cooking up some spicy meals inspired by her travels.
